3333 Biscayne:
A Mixed-Use Commercial Building with Panache
The Biscayne corridor is broadening its horizons for development with civic improvements to the city of Miami through the creation of 3333 Biscayne, an alluring commercial building that will provide new office and retail spaces to serve Miami’s surging residential market.
Scheduled for completion in summer 2008, this new structure will be a part of the great leap forward for this area providing a new urban icon that will mark the entry and exit for the city along Biscayne Boulevard. Providing a fresh new face for the public, 3333 Biscayne is soon to become part of the tradition of design excellence that Miami is known for and is the end-result of the collaboration of exceptional women who represent some of the most predominant and successful firms in Miami.
3333 Biscayne is a unique fusion of ideas whose inspiration and design is a balance of practicality and fantasy, with colorful and invigorating spaces. The innovative, soft and curvaceous design of the building originally with a rectangular design progressively became more whimsical throughout each of the planning phases. Even the Building’s number “3333” fits the feminine and curvaceous theme. “The genesis of 3333 was based on invigorating a forgotten quarter of the city and its purpose is to bring back the class and prestige of a 1940’s Miami,” says Pat Bosch of Perkins & Will, the #1 firm with leading accredited professionals as well the 3rd largest firm in Architecture and Interior.
With sexy interiors and creative use of space and light, the structural design of this building is embodied through the welcoming feel of this building’s lobby which features a prominent entry to draw people into the double high lobby space. The building will reflect the sky and surrounding areas by day and by night as it transforms into a palatial luminous vision. The southwest corner of the site at Biscayne and 33rd street will be adorned with a mural in the tradition of other great Miami buildings such as the iconic Bacardi Building. The project is situated between 33rd and 34th Streets along Biscayne Boulevard and will serve as an urban catalyst for commercial future development in the area.
