3333 Biscayne Brings Elegance and Practicality to Miami’s Commercial Spaces with a Woman’s Touch.

Miami, FL – September 26, 2006 - The Biscayne corridor is broadening its horizons for development with civic improvements to the city of Miami through the creation of 3333 Biscayne, an alluring commercial building that will provide new office and retail spaces to serve Miami’s surging residential market. Scheduled for completion in summer 2008, this new structure will be a part of the great leap forward for this area by providing a new urban icon that will mark the entry and exit for the city along Biscayne Boulevard. Providing a fresh new face for the public, 3333 Biscayne is soon to become part of the tradition of design excellence that Miami is known for and is the end-result of the collaboration of exceptional women who represent some of the most predominant and successful firms in Miami.

Proudly leading this venture is a powerful group of incredible women who have merged their creativity, intellect and concepts to make this vision possible. Among them are Irene Arditi, Principal of Cardinal Development Corp. with Denise Kardonski, Sales and Marketing and Vanessa Acosta, Esq., Land Use & Governmental Affairs; Pat Bosch, Director of Design and Architecture and Marlene Liriano, Director of Interior Design of Perkins & Will; Isabel Galvan, Account Supervisor and Amanda Koziar, Art Director of Propeller; Noel Steinfeld, Vice President of Trammel Crow Company; and finally Jessica Levy, Vice President of Sales and Katrina Alba, Public Relations and Events Director of Americas Media Group.

“The genesis of 3333 was based on invigorating a forgotten quarter of the city and its purpose is to bring back the class and prestige of a 1940’s Miami” says Pat Bosch of Perkins & Will, the #1 firm with leading accredited professionals as well the 3rd largest firm in Architecture and Interior in the Country. Consider these Armani-clad women the “quiet giants” of Architecture. They have successfully made their mark in a male-dominated industry through the creation of various iconic structures around the world including the AOL Time Warner in NY, Crate and Barrel Headquarters, the LA Courthouse and the O’Hare Airport in Dubai. Among some of their most recent Miami projects are the Wellness Center and Clinical Research Building both at the UM Medical Campus, Bayview Market, The Victor Hotel and the Miami Beach City hall Annex.

Cardinal Development Corp. has proudly developed over 5 million square feet of commercial, industrial, hotel and residential space during the past 50 years. They are the visionaries responsible for Cocowalk Miami, one of the first and most successful open-air shopping centers in the United States. Taking on the advertising design and branding for 3333 is Propeller whose impressive portfolio spans across Miami’s canvas. Trammell Crow Company one of the largest diversified commercial real estate services companies in the world and Americas Media group of the largest marketing and advertising planners in Miami round out the sales end for this magnificent team. Now, these companies hope to embrace the community of Miami by giving the city’s architecture a much-needed “woman’s touch”.

3333 Biscayne is a unique fusion of ideas whose inspiration and design stems from one of its very own team members Irene Arditi, Principal of Cardinal Development Corporation. “She embodies class and elegance; everything this building was intended to be.” says Marlene Liriano, of Perkins & Will. Irene was very vocal on her vision throughout the whole design process. Much like her personality, the dynamic design of 3333 is a balance of practicality and fantasy, with colorful and invigorating spaces. The innovative, soft and curvaceous design of the building originally with a rectangular design progressively became more whimsical throughout each of the planning phases. Even the Building’s number “3333” fits the feminine and curvaceous theme.

With sexy interiors and creative use of space and light, the structural design of this building is embodied through the welcoming feel of this building’s lobby which features a prominent entry to draw people into the double high lobby space. The building will reflect the sky and surrounding areas by day and by night it will transform into a palatial luminous vision. The southwest corner of the site, at Biscayne and 33rd street, will be adorned with a mural in the tradition of other great Miami buildings such as the iconic Bacardi Building. The project is situated between 33rd and 34th Streets along Biscayne Boulevard and will serve as an urban catalyst for commercial future development in the area.
